Since 1996…

KILELENI… TO THE SUMMIT!

Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but personal Growth, true Experience, and lasting Lessons occur while climbing towards the Summit.

Adults know that well; and as leaders it is our duty to instruct our students. The Journey is our classroom, the Stadium our testing ground; the distinct environments, uncertainties and unique cultures our Challenge.

Each day while traveling there are hills and valleys we encounter, moments that test us, lofty peaks that inspire the individual and thus the entire team to commit and persevere.

The SUMMIT is always worth the effort, whether it be victory on the field, a historic site to visit and learn about, the special meal to savor, or a wonderful day of exploration with teammates. Or, a mountaintop!

In 1995, Patrick Steenberge took a huge leap of faith, deciding to develop a concept named “GLOBAL FOOTBALL”.

Patrick founded Global Football with the vision of creating and producing amateur sporting events worldwide. Some 28 countries, 6 continents and 30 years later, Global Football is the world’s largest exporter of live American Football events. Global Football provides coaches and student-athletes the opportunity to see the world as well as compete and showcase their talents internationally. One profound component of the tours is the community service element that each team participates in while in the host country.

A native of Erie, PA, Patrick reached the pinnacle of amateur athletic and academic accomplishment, playing quarterback for at the University of Notre Dame and under coach Ara Parseghian, while earning his marketing degree.

Since 1996 Global Football has served over 450+ teams and 20,000+ travelers. Global Football has firmly established itself as the premier player in the space of international travel for sports teams. The mission continues, with the hope of making a lasting impact on the student-athlete, their coaches, and their community.
